Hi, I’m Katie!

Studying Animal Management and earning a degree in Wildlife Conservation led me to explore behaviour - first in animals, then in humans. That curiosity evolved into a passion for UX design, where I now create user-centered experiences that are both meaningful and accessible.

I design with purpose, always looking for ways to improve lives through thoughtful, inclusive experiences. Over the past year at Parkinson's UK, I redesigned the Local Support Tool and am now working on improving the support pages, focusing on responsive design and accessibility. My work on the Local Support Tool was featured on BBC Morning Live, highlighting its impact in helping people affected by Parkinson's find vital support. For me, design goes beyond the screen - it's about understanding and connecting with the people I create for.

When I’m not working you will find me…

Walking my dog, Milo, while actively supporting the Parkinson’s UK community.

In October, I took on the Walkies for Parkinson’s challenge, walking 60 miles and raising over £1,000 for Parkinson’s UK.

I thrive on challenges and enjoy staying active and engaged.

Thrill seeking…

I’m all about pushing limits and conquering fears through exhilarating adventures. From rock climbing and skateboarding to skydiving and scuba diving, I’m always chasing the next adrenaline rush. What’s my next thrill? You’ll just have to wait and see!
